About the role:

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager who will influence a variety of initiatives alongside a world class team that is growing a modern commercial insurance product from the ground up. 

Reporting directly to the Business Operations Lead, you will partner with Go-to-Market teams including Product, Marketing, Business Development and Underwriting to drive strategy and create efficient processes.

You will play a critical role in creating the frameworks that enable Nirvana to scale successfully. Each week will bring a new set of projects and challenges, where success is measured by data driven outcomes, and where you will have real ownership of business results.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategy: Identify, triage, and drive the strategic thinking on key revenue questions, issues, and roadblocks facing the company using your business acumen.

  • Analysis & Insights: Conduct quantitative research and analysis that results in compelling takeaways and recommendations for our leadership team.

  • Impact & Execution: Collaborate on critical operational excellence projects, turning your strategic recommendations into reality.

  • Planning / Business Health Reporting: help develop and track critical operating metrics associated with each major project for the Executive team and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.

  • Since we’re still in scrappy startup mode, there’s a lot of rolling up your sleeves and getting into the weeds to drive direct impact on a daily basis. We knock out today’s problems while balancing our need to build for the long-term.

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or revenue operations.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfort working in a high growth, ambiguous environment.

  • Critical thinker who isn’t afraid to provocateur and make decisions.

  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through issues.

  • Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty & stretch yourself.

  • Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions & results.

We set our salary ranges using compensation data from companies similar to our stage and size. For this role, the estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000. The actual base salary will vary depending on multiple factors unique to each candidate, including location, job-related knowledge, transferable skills, work experience and our assessment of your level during the interview process.
