
Senior Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, federally focused, Senior Contracts Manager who will assist Oddball with maturing our fast paced, high growth company. This role has the potential to become Director of Contracts.
Working hand in hand with our management and growth teams to oversee all things pertinent to the successful oversight , submission and partnership management of federal bids and contracts, this is our subject matter expert on an incredibly important vertical at Oddball.
What you'll be doing:
Provide overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws
Provide advice and counsel to counterparts and less experienced Contracts staff
Develop or review prime contract flow down documents to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements and to minimize company liability
This role will serve as the primary interface between government contracting professionals and program leaders and managers
Negotiate and administer contracts with the U.S. federal government
Provide subcontracting support with prime contractors, both small and large
Administer and coordinate teaming and non-disclosure agreements and develop Organizational Conflict of Interest plans as applicable
Review solicitations for risks and identify any compliance issues with terms and conditions
Advise on legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations
Serve as an authorized and empowered team member of the Company with signature authority who interfaces with Customer contracting officers
Administer all post-proposal activities such as audits, contract negotiation, and award. Work with customers and staff to track and expedite contract award. Maintain detailed records of all information exchanged and results of each action
Maintain current and accurate data in the contracts database on proposal and contract status/information
Advise program management of contractual rights and obligations; maintain company contract file and historical information under established procedures
Manage contractual data in ERP/Accounting system, including contract setup

What you’ll bring:
10+ years of experience with contract administration, negotiations, and proposal support in the government contracting sector
Reviews and manages all contractual obligations across parties and ensures compliance with all terms and conditions
Experienced with all contract types to include firm-fixed-price, T&M, cost reimbursable, BPAs, GWACs, and agency IDIQs
Experienced with tracking and creating Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) mitigation plans
Excellent negotiation skills, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions
Manage contract vehicle compliance including support of audits, monitoring and reporting, renewals, and negotiations
Experience reviewing RFP/RFQ terms and conditions, Statement of Objectives, Performance work statements for risk and proposing mitigation strategies
Experience establishing and maintaining agreements that include Joint Ventures, mentor protégé, teaming and sub-contract agreements
Knowledge of federal government contracting and FAR regulations
Develop and maintain communications with government stakeholders including collecting and maintaining CPARS for prime contract programs
Experience with managing and delivering work products in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing enterprise contract portfolio that include various contract types, scope and requirements
Must have the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with executive management and staff regarding Contracts
Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals and display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
Ability to identify problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint

Compensation:
At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $165,000
