The role
As a UX Writer, on ONE’s Design Team, you will play a pivotal role in defining innovative ways to help people achieve balance in how they spend, save, and grow their money by creating approachable solutions that can give everyone a path toward financial well-being. This role will report directly to the Experience Design Lead.
This role is responsible for:
Working across the Experience Design Team with other designers to develop, refine, and iterate on new and existing experiences.
Collaborating closely with your cross-functional partners and always with the customer experience in mind, you will ensure we deliver only the highest quality work.
Autonomously supporting strong and compelling experience flows with copy that is simple, scalable and on brand.
Pivoting through creative problem-solving.
Additional duties as assigned by your manager.
You bring
8+ years of experience in user experience and copywriting. Delivering detailed, thought-provoking, and expertly crafted work.
An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias toward taking action.
Extensive experience writing content principles and guidelines.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates compelling writing for the user experience that showcases a perspective on your writing process.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work while advocating for design, brand, research, and strategy.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Expert knowledge in one or more of the following software applications: Google docs, Figma.
A genuine passion for Design, and creating solutions that authentically connect with an audience.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Curiosity and passion with a keen understanding of creative and cultural nuances for our audience.
Pay Transparency
The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 - $200,000. Pay is generally based upon the level, complexity, responsibility, and job duties/requirements of the specific position. We then source candidates with the requisite skills, expertise, education, training, and experience. Leveling Philosophy
In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at ONE. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within ONE.
