JOB DESCRIPTION

Digital media is crucial in today's world as it enables businesses to effectively reach and engage their target audience, build brand presence, and adapt to the dynamic online landscape for sustainable growth. We’re looking for a Digital Media Specialist to bring campaigns to life, including the planning, buying, and execution of full-funnel digital media campaigns across multiple high-profile clients. They will have a large role in working with Sr. Digital Media Strategists to ensure campaigns are activated and optimized towards the goals and objectives of their client(s). The Digital Media Specialist will primarily focus on programmatic activations outside of paid social and paid search, however, will also work closely with cross-channel teams to ensure campaign objectives are in sync. This position will require knowledge and expertise directly in-platform as well as with various digital media vendors, including retail media networks, to ensure campaigns are executed according to expectations. They will work very closely with Sr. Digital Media Strategists and Ad Operations Specialists and will report to the Media Strategy Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for trafficking and optimizing display campaigns, as well as timely delivery of reports & analysis via Campaign Manager and DV360

  • Co-strategizing display media plans with senior strategists,

  • Accountable for executing strategies that exceed client goals and KPIs

  • Leverage and maintain strong relationships with partners, remain up to date on partners and their offerings

  • Ensure contracts are accurate, out clauses are set and billing is established

  • Budget management including approving and actualizing invoices, monitoring and forecasting media & fees, issuing contracts, documenting budget changes and maintaining the overall media plan document

  • Help manage the Interns; provide input on all projects, QA work, and give feedback in real time; provides effective performance feedback 

  • Create timelines, internal and external to remain organized

  • Provides in-depth analysis of Google Data Studio reports and be able to present to the client during calls

  • Step above and beyond to ensure clients are fully satisfied

DESIRED BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

  • 3-6+ years digital media experience including planning, buying, executing, optimizing, and reporting across digital media campaigns in an agency setting. 

  • Hands-on knowledge working directly in platforms such as DV360, Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360 as well as industry specific avenues such as RMNs (retail media networks).

  • Experience planning, creating, and executing tactics such as digital display, video, CTV, native, rich media, streaming audio, among others.

  • Experience working directly with digital media vendors to facilitate complex digital executions and buying activities.

  • Experience managing different types of buyer journeys, particularly within higher education, e-commerce, and health services industries.

  • Knowledgeable in data analysis and data visualization tools for reporting insights such as Tableau.

  • Additional fundamental understanding paid search and social media, particularly their role in holistic campaign strategies and meeting client objectives and goals.

  • Understanding of key internal business objectives including; business development & sales, pricing, time management, project management, and operations.

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking.

  • Bring a relentlessly helpful and curious personality to the table - for your teammates, your clients, our prospects, and your community.

PLUSES

  • Working knowledge of supporting tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.

  • Experience within Paid Search platforms (Google ads, Bing, SA360).

  • Experience within Paid Social platforms (META, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).

  • Experience working within a team environment inclusive of digital media, SEO, Web development, creative, account, reporting, and analytics.

  • Working knowledge of marketing and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Hubspot.

  • Experience in Amazon Advertising.

  • Certifications in Google Ads and Amazon Advertising.
