Attendee Support Specialist

🚀 The Role

We’re hiring an Attendee Support Specialist to assist and execute tasks related to event registration customer service.

You’ll handle incoming calls, emails, and online chats from attendees, clients, hotels, and team members, while also pulling reports and supporting projects as assigned. This role is central to delivering seamless event experiences and ensuring every attendee feels supported.

📋 You Should Have

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a relevant role (technical customer service preferred)

  • Experience with tools such as Cvent, Rainfocus, Stova (Aventri, eventcore, MeetingPlay), and Swoogo

  • Proven ability to accurately and efficiently assist event attendees in issue resolution

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

📋 Essential Responsibilities

  • Resolve attendee issues independently using event operations knowledge and historical expertise

  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and other support channels

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of event details, registration platforms, and customer service tools

  • Provide recommendations for customer service best practices and process improvements

  • Streamline team resources and documentation, especially for large-scale events

  • Support event leads and project managers with assigned tasks and projects

  • Organize and relay information effectively using company tools

  • Actively participate in team and department meetings

  • Handle proprietary and confidential information with discretion

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and take ownership of enhancements

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/events in fast-paced environments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening

  • Professionalism in communication, responsiveness, reliability, and appearance

  • Adaptability to changing priorities and short timelines

  • High level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • Strong project management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Resourcefulness and initiative with self-directed learning

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, OneNote); advanced Excel preferred

  • Ability to interpret and apply written/verbal instructions in varying situations

✈️ Travel & Flexible Schedule

  • May require travel to attend events (air travel, overnight stays)

  • Occasional work outside standard business hours

💰 Compensation

  • Starting salary: $62,000 – $66,000

  • Based on national market compensation analysis

  • Actual salary depends on training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands
