About Osome

We're Osome — an international fintech startup making the lives of entrepreneurs easier. We help thousands of businesses kick admin, accounting and bookkeeping out of their day-to-day, so they can spend more time on what's important to them. We've developed a unique solution that combines SaaS with a human-in-the-loop approach to provide full-fledged services in real-time.

We’re experiencing rapid growth in both client base and team, which now comprises around 500 people across our offices worldwide. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for more bright minds who are excited to make a real impact by solving complex problems.

What to Expect

  • You’ll handle real client accounts, not dummy data

  • Accuracy matters — mistakes don’t hide for long

  • You’ll communicate with clients and internal teams regularly

  • If you want to build confidence, judgement, and ownership, it will be.

What You'll Do

  • Conversion Path Architecture: Own the visual hierarchy and UX of the "storefront" to ensure the smoothest possible path from landing page to checkout

  • Design System Stewardship: Build and maintain a scalable library of components within Figma that maps directly to Strapi, ensuring brand consistency as the site grows

  • Data-Informed Iteration: Transform raw data (heatmaps, drop-off rates, A/B test results) into design hypotheses and visual solutions that move the needle on CAC

  • Cross-Functional Bridge: Be the translator between the Marketing team’s goals and the Engineering team’s technical constraints, ensuring designs are high-impact and buildable

  • User Psychology & Trust: Implement high-level B2B & B2C design principles that balance E-commerce speed with the professional credibility required for our services

  • Performance & Accessibility Optimization: Ensure the site remains lightning-fast and fully accessible (WCAG compliant), knowing that site speed is a direct factor in conversion

  • Visual Storytelling: Elevate the Osome brand through sophisticated still and motion design that feels premium and "fintech-forward."

You’ll leave this role better than you started. That’s the goal.

Tasks (Day-to-Day)

  • Component Building in Strapi: Auditing and creating new modular "blocks" in the CMS to allow the marketing team to launch new landing pages without dev help.

  • A/B Test Design: Mocking up two variations of a pricing table or a sign-up form to test specific psychological triggers (e.g., "Social Proof" vs. "Feature-Led").

  • High-Fidelity Prototyping: Using Figma to create interactive "clickable" flows of the checkout process to identify friction points before they hit production.

  • Stakeholder Design Reviews: Presenting design work to product and marketing leads, defending visual choices with UX logic rather than "it looks better."

  • Behavioral Analysis: Spending time in tools like Hotjar or FullStory to watch where users get confused on the current live site.

  • Asset Export & Optimization: Preparing SVGs, WebP images, and Lottie animations to ensure the site remains lightweight and fast.

  • Developer Handover: Creating detailed "redlines" and documentation for engineers, ensuring the final build matches the design to the pixel.

  • Competitor Auditing: Regularly teardown the checkout flows of top-tier SaaS and E-commerce companies to bring fresh CRO ideas to the Osome roadmap.

Key Competencies

  • The ability to design for a headless CMS like Strapi in modular and atomic manner

  • Expertise in creating high-conversion "Buy Now" flows. Strong proficiency in CRO & UI/UX

  • A deep understanding of how design choices (font weights, unoptimized imagery, JS-heavy animations) impact Core Web Vitals and SEO

  • Responsive Typography & Grid Systems: Beyond just "making it fit," they must understand the math behind fluid typography and complex grid layouts that fuel responsive design

  • Product thinking: They don't just receive a brief; they challenge it. They understand the need and can suggest design changes that align with increasing LTV or decreasing churn

  • Systems orientation: Someone who has gone from 0 → 1 and 1 → 10 at different stages and understands what it takes to reduce people dependency.

Who You Are

  • 8–10 years experience in design with SaaS / Ecommerce brands

  • Strong handle of web design tools and headless CMS
