We are looking for the new colleague to lead the  HR department, a dedicated people’s person who will be there for their colleagues, but also for the fun.

Apply if you want to be a hands-on HR Manager on the ground floor in an agile company. As the only HR in Pago, you will have a lot of freedom to create, update and formulate the HR strategy and direction. We are looking for a talented person to help us implement a true and scalable HR strategy. Not just for recruiting but for our great, existing team and our Pago future teammates.  

 

 

HR Responsibilities 

  • HR is the department you are in charge of, therefore, your main objective is to facilitate and contribute to Company’s Performance, through the HR related activities

  •  You define, create, update and implement HR policies and procedures

  • You are responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all HR policies and programs such as the on-boarding process, HR Platforms management, colleagues inquiries, compensation and benefits; you will work closely with the finance team

  • We count on you to organize team events, happy hours and awesome get togethers 

 

Talent Acquisition & Employment Brand 

  • You facilitate and lead the recruitment process, following the internal guidelines and ensuring an adequate time to hire

  • You actively participate in the recruitment process: define strategies, drawing-up job descriptions, posting ads, sourcing, screening, interviews, feedback and offers; 

  • You monitor and stay up to date on recruitment best practices and trends in employer branding and ensure that your team has the necessary competence and expertise to meet current and future business needs;

  • You create an “Employer of Choice” culture that attracts, develops and retains world class talent;

 

 People Operations & Culture

Requirements:

  • Flexibility â€“ you understand that there are multiple ways to complete a task, therefore are flexible enough to always adjust

    • Patience â€“ is essential, as you will act as a People Manager; You are one of the colleagues’ go-to persons, either for something small, like explaining a process, or for a warm pep-talk

    • Ability to listen â€“ you have the capability and the will to understand your colleagues’ concerns in order to provide them with quality solutions

    • Accountability â€“ you can take accountability for both successes and failures. This way, you will gain the trust of your colleagues, as to be a valued, respected HR for the whole team

    • Organization â€“ goes without saying, you need to be disciplined in order to be able to help increase productivity and support the development of the Organization

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Trust â€“ you believe you can rely on your colleagues’ assistance and advice when you need it, and vice versa. You also value confidentiality.

    • Very good English skills

    • Labor legislation knowledge

    • Experience in working with B2B contracts

  • Nice to have: previous experience using Bamboo HR.

 

The first six months

In the first week, we will expect you to:

  • Become acquainted with our team

  • Onboard and integrate into Pago while studying, learning and understand our mission

  • Start your training with the HR manager and other relevant parties on case per case basis

 

In the first month, we expect you to:

  • Become familiar with the organization’s structure

  • Become familiar with your colleagues as well as understand and adhere to the working environment

  • Continue your training and accomplish your first tasks

 

In the first three months, we expect you to:

  • Become comfortable and confident in your daily activities

  • Lead recruitment projects with help from Hiring Managers

  • Lead other HR related projects (e.g. - onboard new hires / organize colleagues’ get togethers) 

 

In the first six months, we expect you to:

  • Become autonomous and able to work independently
