Pago is the go-to app for managing household payments in Romania. Our mission is to simplify bill payments and bring all household bills together in one convenient platform. We're on a growth journey, aiming to expand our success into Poland, Italy, and other countries within the next five years.

Since launching in 2017, we've processed over 9 million payments, totaling more than 1 billion lei. Our users love the simplicity of seeing all their bills on one screen and paying them with a single confirmation.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Mid-Level iOS Engineer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining features for our app, while contributing to tools that help scale our product.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code in collaboration with our team.

• Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring top-notch software delivery.

• Explore new technologies and tools, sharing your discoveries with the team.

• Communicate effectively with team members.

• Join dev calls, brainstorming sessions, and contribute innovative ideas.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, or relevant experience.

• iOS Knowledge: Solid understanding of iOS application development, with experience building and maintaining production apps.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer science concepts, UI implementation, and REST APIs.

• English Proficiency: Intermediate spoken and written English.

• Mindset: Proactive, with a passion for improving workflows and processes.

• Learning Ability: Willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies.

• Experience: Demonstrated experience working on production apps, preferably published on the App Store.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
