Account Executive – UK Retail & 3PL
Overview
We are looking for an Account Executive to lead new business sales across the UK retail and 3PL market.
This role is responsible for building pipeline, running complex sales cycles and closing new customers. You will work with prospects across retail, e-commerce, warehousing, fulfilment and third-party logistics, helping them understand the operational and commercial value of our solution.
This is a role for a commercially strong, disciplined seller who can engage confidently at operational, technical and senior decision-making levels, and who is comfortable selling on value rather than features alone.
What you’ll be doing
Own new business sales across a defined UK retail and 3PL territory.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through a mix of self-generated activity and collaboration with Marketing.
Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.
Engage a wide range of stakeholders, including operational leaders, supply chain leaders, warehouse and logistics teams, IT, finance and senior executives.
Run strong discovery to understand operational pain points, commercial drivers and decision-making process.
Present a clear value-based case for change, linking our solution to measurable business outcomes.
Develop and execute account strategies for target customers.
Keep CRM records and pipeline forecasts accurate and up to date.
Work closely with internal teams including product, technology, data science, and leadership to progress opportunities effectively.
Negotiate commercials and contracts in a way that sets both sides up for a successful long-term relationship.
Contribute to refining our messaging, propositions and go-to-market approach in the UK retail and 3PL space.
What we’re looking for
A strong track record in B2B sales, ideally in software, SaaS or technology-enabled services.
Experience selling complex solutions with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
Confidence engaging senior operational and commercial decision-makers.
A value-based approach to selling, with the ability to connect solution capability to commercial and operational outcomes.
Strong territory management and pipeline discipline.
Clear communication skills across discovery, proposals, presentations and negotiation.
A self-starting, organised and commercially driven mindset.
Comfortable working in a focused, growing environment where you are expected to shape as well as sell.
We’d be particularly interested in people with experience in:
Retail supply chain
Warehousing and fulfilment
Logistics technology
3PL / contract logistics
Inventory, planning, labour, execution or operational performance solutions
Selling to UK mid-market or enterprise customers
What success looks like
Consistent creation and conversion of qualified pipeline.
Strong progression of opportunities through the full sales cycle.
New customer wins across the UK retail and 3PL market.
Credible engagement with both business and operational stakeholders.
Clear account plans, accurate forecasting and disciplined deal management.

Our Values
Empathy
People are complex; every single one of us is different and has different needs at work and home. We encourage and embrace a workplace which is tolerant. A place where people listen to one another’s needs, a place of understanding and a safe place which promotes positive mental health. Well-being at work and home is non-negotiable.
Diversity
We love building our team of amazing humans from all different backgrounds. We know diversity and inclusivity strengthens our proposition, brings new angles, introduces fresh thinking and enriches us all.
Creativity
Innovative data science businesses are driven by creative thinking. All the data in the world is pointless without the ideas and creative skillset to identify how it could benefit organisations or people. Creativity fuels new ways of working, problem solving and ensures we remain relevant.
Fairness
At Predyktable we want every single decision made by every single person in the company to be done with honesty and fairness at its heart. Being fair with each other and all those we engage with in business is often overlooked but is hugely powerful. We all want fairness in life. Fairness drives ethical decisions and has truthfulness and integrity at its core. Being fair builds trust.
Don't let this one get away.
