Marketing Technology (MarTech) Specialist

About The Role
As a MarTech Specialist at Publishing.com, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, integrating, and optimizing the marketing technology stack we use for funnel creation and management. Reporting to our Funnel Manager and working closely with tools such as ClickFunnels, Zapier, and WebFlow, you will be the marketing technology specialist responsible for implementing our technical capabilities. Your work will be evident across the company, allowing you to make a significant impact on our continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to build and integrate funnel pages, manage form submissions, and integrate third-party services.

  • Provide front-end support for CRO testing and devise solutions for full-funnel tracking.

  • Utilize Google Analytics 4 for comprehensive user behavior analysis and tracking, incorporating insights from diverse sources to enhance decision-making.

  • Develop and implement custom events, ensuring accurate tracking across digital platforms.

  • Oversee UTM/URL parameter tracking for all traffic sources, attributing sales accurately to respective campaigns.

  • Refine tracking and support email marketing campaigns.

  • Aid in cross-domain tracking.

  • Administer Google Tag Manager for advertising tags and trackers, enhancing end-to-end tracking abilities.

  • Ensure proper Hyros setup and collaborate on defining marketing reports with data engineers.

Expected Outcomes

  • Technical Implementation - Ensure end-to-end marketing funnel strategies are built to the Funnel Manager’s specifications.

  • Technical Integration - Create integrations between a variety of marketing tools spanning every step of a given marketing or sales campaign. 

  • Technical Maintenance - Proactively test for and fix any errors after a campaign goes live. 

  • Technical Excellence - Iterate on past performance to make every campaign as successful as possible.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with marketing and sales teams for technical implementation of campaigns, with a specific focus on building end-to-end funnels.

  • Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, and CSS for creating basic landing pages or similar.

  • Significant recent professional experience and expertise with: 

    • ClickFunnels or WebFlow for funnel building

    • WebinarJam, Easy Webinar, or Demio for webinar funnels

    • Google Tag Manager and GA4

    • A significant CRM such as HubSpot, Active Campaign, or Salesforce 

    • Zapier or Make.io for automation

  • A strong sense of responsibility, organization, and excellent communication skills, honed through diverse experiences in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Hyros, Wicked Reports, or Looker Studio.

  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely or VWO.

  • Knowledge of SEO practices and tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
