Lead/Sr Compensation and Benefits Manager

About The Role

The Lead/Sr. People Operations Manager - Compensation, Benefits and Compliance is a new role to our growing global People Success team and will serve a key thought partner to provide HR expertise and best practices to Resilinc’s India Center of Excellence (COE) while also serving our broader global team. Reporting to our Director of Global People Operations, this role will make a key impact across the employee lifecycle in managing our India HR Operations, compensation, benefits, compliance, HRMS platform, reporting and analytics. We are looking for a passionate, forward thinking people person who excels in strategic thinking, tactical execution and building programs that foster an inclusive and innovative culture.

What You Will Do

India Compensation and Benefits

  • Lead India benefits design and administration. Partner with brokers and lead internal communications to ensure our team is experiencing a high return on investment and value from our programs.

  • Manage India compensation programs, annual increment process and bonus programs.  

  • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs for our team members in India.

  • Partner with People Success leadership to conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure market competitiveness.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations in India.

  • Identify and mitigate HR-related risks, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

India Operations and Payroll

  • Oversee India HR policies, procedures, and compliance. Partner with global Legal, Compliance, InfoSec, and IT teams to build streamlined workflows and integrations.

  • Lead HR reporting and analytics for India COE, providing reporting to stakeholders and leadership, up-to-and-including Executive Leadership.

  • Manage Rippling HRMS Platform for the India COE, ensuring accurate data, reporting and compliance at all times.

  • Lead India employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding processes. Ensure positive experience and adhere to compliance standards.

  • Manage full cycle payroll for the India entity and act as backup for U.S. payroll.

Strategic HR Operations

  • Collaborate with global People Success and India COE senior leadership to develop and implement India HR strategies, programs and policies that align to our global programs and broader business objectives.

  • Partner with global People Operations to build a culture of continuous improvement, automation and innovation within our People Success team.

  • Provide support and back-up to US & UK HR Operations.

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to India HR Operations team. 

HR Metrics and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making.

  • Accurately prepare regular reports for Board and Executive Leadership on HR initiatives, outcomes, and strategic recommendations.

What You Have Done

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 7-10 years of progressive HR Operations experience, with experience working for a US headquartered technology company required. Experience working for a SaaS company and/or Private Equity backed company preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience of experience designing compensation philosophies and creating compensation benchmarking and pay scales with a focus on pay equity.

  • 3+ years of experience owning benefit plan design and administration, partnering with finance to ensure alignment with budget requirements.

  • Comprehensive understanding of employment compliance laws in India and the ability to navigate through difficult compliance situations and provide informed recommendations for resolution.

  • Excellent communication, time management and project management skills. Brings deep sense of ownership, accountability and commitment. Ability to collaborate with team members throughout projects while meeting deadlines.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing HR programs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Expert knowledge of India-specific HR practices, employment laws, and regulations. Additional knowledge of US-specific HR practices, employment laws, and regulations is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

  • Experience working in an HR team across multiple regions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects and drive change in a dynamic, global environment.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Rippling preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
