Senior Event Manager

The role

RevenueCat is a lot of things for a lot of different users: easy-to-integrate subscription infrastructure for engineers, a way to increase conversion and revenue for product teams, a source of invaluable insights for marketers, and the place where support teams manage paying customers.

Events are how we connect with all these audiences. From developer conferences to customer dinners, workshops, and virtual sessions, events give us the chance to learn directly from the people who use RevenueCat every day, deepen relationships, and generate pipeline.

We’re looking for a Senior Event Manager to join the team responsible for these in-person and virtual event experiences. Working alongside Sabrina, our Events Lead, you’ll drive strategic initiatives across our event calendar, conceptualize and execute creative first-party experiences, and lead innovative programs that leave a lasting impression and deliver measurable business impact.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Collaborate on event strategy development and own complex multi-stakeholder projects

  • Independently manage and reimagine first-party events (roadshows, customer dinners, workshops, lunch & learns)

  • Own a major workstream for our annual conference

  • Design and execute demand generation events that drive qualified pipeline for Sales

  • Partner with Sales, Success, and Product teams to build targeted experiences that accelerate opportunities and deepen customer relationships

  • Mentor team members while independently driving company-critical event strategies

Success milestones

Within 1 month:

  • Analyze RevenueCat’s event ecosystem and identify optimization opportunities

  • Build relationships across Marketing, Sales, Success, and Product teams

  • Deliver a “first ship” quick win (process improvement, new format concept, or strategic recommendation)

  • Demonstrate mastery of event management systems and processes

Within 3 months:

  • Design a flagship first-party event experience with creative in-house execution

  • Own end-to-end execution of multiple high-stakes events simultaneously

  • Complete strategic assessment of the event portfolio and present recommendations

Within 6 months:

  • Own a major workstream for the annual conference

  • Lead initiatives that integrate events with broader marketing and sales objectives

  • Build repeatable event playbooks and formats for Sales and Success teams

  • Establish yourself as the go-to expert for event strategy and execution

After 12 months:

  • Full autonomy over major event programs with exceptional results

  • Deliver the annual conference workstream with measurable impact

  • Launch a signature owned event series or scalable regional activation program

  • Drive expansion into new markets through events

What you’ll need to be successful

  • 7+ years of senior-level event management in B2B or B2D SaaS

  • Proven track record of leading strategic event initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes

  • Ability to independently develop and execute event strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Strong project management skills across complex, multi-stakeholder projects

  • Full event ownership experience, including P&L responsibility and ROI optimization

  • Expertise across diverse event formats (field marketing, workshops, executive dinners, roundtables, conferences)

  • Experience with developer and technical audiences, especially mobile app developers and product-led growth communities

  • Demand generation expertise: designing events that drive pipeline outcomes and collaborating with Sales on account-based activations

  • Exceptional communication skills with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners

  • Comfort with international travel and managing events across multiple regions and cultures

  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous environment using Notion, Zoom, Slack, and Linear

Bonus points

  • Experience with developer and technical audiences

  • Familiarity with product-led growth communities and subscription businesses

  • Background in indie developer/maker communities

  • Experience with technical conferences and hands-on workshop formats
