Email / SMS Marketing Manager
Position Summary
As the Email & SMS Marketing Manager, you’ll work directly with Sandhill’s clients to help them achieve their goals for revenue, growth, and new customer acquisition. This position reports directly Sandhill’s Director of Marketing Strategy & Client Success, and the successful candidate will own the performance and reporting of clients’ email and SMS marketing through platforms such as Klaviyo or Attentive.

Responsibilities
Oversee strategy and campaign management to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth for Sandhill’s clients.
Work with clients to plan a campaign calendar for upcoming initiatives
Build email and sms campaigns
Write email copy that effectively achieves the campaign goal within the brand voice of the client
Design emails that effectively achieve the campaign goals while adhearing to the brand's style guidelines
Strategize and build email and SMS automation campaigns as appropriate for clients
Stay current on latest trends and best practices in email & SMS marketing, analytics, attribution, and tracking
Compile reporting on campaign performance to be presented to Sandhill’s Head of Strategy and directly to the clients
Coordinate with creative and content teams to drive channel growth and to ensure campaigns are in alignment with brand positioning and long-term goals.
Define goals and effectively lead all aspects of channel execution, while identifying tactics with high purchase volume and conversion potential.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or demonstrated ability in acquisition marketing
3+ years of email & SMS marketing experience
3+ years of copywriting for email / SMS campaigns
3+ years of designing for email / SMS campaigns
3+ years of experience with Klaviyo, Attentive, HubSpot, etc
3+ years of experience with Google Analytics or other marketing analytic tools such as TripleWhale, etc
2+ years of experience working directly with clients
Preferred Qualifications
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and the ability to take quantitative analysis and translate it into actionable insights and a narrative that the client can understand
Experience as the primary force driving revenue using email & SMS marketing
Self-starter, ambitious, resourceful
Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with clients
Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and pioneering new approaches within your team or company
Relentlessly high standards
Strategic thinker, but also good a tactical deployment of a plan
