We are seeking a highly creative and culturally aware Social Media Manager to oversee and execute our social media strategy. In this role, you will create engaging content, manage posts, and respond to our audience while maintaining a cohesive brand voice across all platforms. A deep understanding of U.S. trends, cultural moments, and audience preferences is essential to excel in this position.

You should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, capable of quickly adapting to the ever-changing online landscape. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey our brand’s perspective creatively and authentically are a must.

The goal is to drive high levels of audience engagement, web traffic, and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Stay on top of U.S. cultural trends: Monitor emerging cultural moments, trending topics, and audience behaviors to inform content strategy.

  • Content creation and curation: Develop and share original text, photo, and video content daily that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with U.S. audiences.

  • Social media strategy: Design and implement a cohesive social media strategy to align with business goals, ensuring the effective use of each platform.

  • Engage with the audience: Actively respond to followers, engage in conversations, and manage customer reviews in a timely and authentic manner.

  • Analytics and reporting: Set specific objectives, track performance metrics (e.g., ROI, SEO, traffic), and prepare detailed reports to inform strategies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

  • Design oversight: Manage the look and feel of social media accounts, including cover images, profile pictures, and blog layouts.

  • Innovation: Suggest and implement new features such as promotions, competitions, or partnerships to increase brand awareness and engagement.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven track record: Demonstrated success as a Social Media Manager with a portfolio showcasing creative campaigns.

  • Cultural fluency: Deep understanding of U.S. culture, trends, and digital behavior.

  • Creative expertise: Skilled in crafting compelling content (text, visuals, and video) that connects with diverse audiences.

  • Technical knowledge: Proficient in content management systems, SEO, keyword research, and tools like Google Analytics.

  • Platform mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and best practices (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).

  • Collaboration and communication: Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally with other teams.

  • Analytical mindset: Ability to interpret metrics and translate them into actionable insights.

  • Adaptability: Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
