About the role
The Developer Relations Engineer drives adoption of Scope3 solutions within the developer community. You are a product expert that identifies opportunities and delivers solutions and resources to improve the integration experience for our partners. The Developer Relations Engineer maintains our robust methodology and API documentation.
The ideal candidate is an AdTech domain expert who will thrive in a start-up environment where everything moves fast, and nothing is set in stone. As an early member of the Scope3 Services team, you’ll play an important role in how we develop our engagement models.
For Scope3’s clients and partners you will…
Be a point of contact for technical collaboration and guidance for partners and others in the developer ecosystem
Drive adoption of Scope3 APIs and ensure best practices during implementation
Help improve our products by creating and managing feedback loops regarding API design, platform usability, and functionality
Maintain API and methodology documentation
Design and deliver developer-first content and tools like reference implementations, libraries and source code, how-to guides
Evangelize and educate the market and developer community about sustainable advertising, Scope3 and our suite of solutions, and the industry’s path to Net Zero
As a core member of Scope3’s Services team you will…
Understand Scope3 products intimately including how we measure CO2 emissions throughout the advertising supply chain
Be technical and data savvy, with an ability to answer tech questions and provide solutions
Create tailored training and best practice materials that showcase the value of Scope3 solutions
Collect and provide feedback on Scope3’s offering and ideas on how to improve products, operations, and processes
Think systemically about all parts of the advertising value chain: brands, agencies, AdTech platforms, publishers, and broadcasters
Work closely with internal teams (commercial, product, marketing, and other supporting functions) on behalf of customers, helping solve problems in the short-term while contributing to long-term solutions
Build repeatable processes and seek continuous improvement to enable the team to scale
Train and support other members of the Services team
Have a natural interest for the topic of sustainability and how it’s shaping the future of advertising and the media industries
Experience you should have…
Coding, developing scripts, SQL, and working with APIs
Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud integrations preferred
Writing, organizing, and publishing technical documentation
Aptitude for explaining technical concept to non-technical people
Comfort managing competing priorities and multiple projects
