Social Media Manager

As a Social Media Manager, you’ll play a critical role within the marketing team, developing great ideas, producing engaging, relevant content, and keeping a good balance between speed and quality. You’ll ensure that unique, engaging and search-friendly content is created for the brand and track engagement by the target audience.

Role Specific Job Duties

  • Craft and curate high-quality content for various social channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), and TikTok.

  • Manage a social media calendar in alignment with business priorities, responsible for composing, editing, and posting content across all platforms.

  • Manage agencies to develop content to be placed in social channels and the media.

  • Work with VP of Product Marketing and Communications to develop a news release calendar. Work with outside agenices and consultants to pitch the news media.

  • Engage and build a customer community, creating a true two-way dialogue with our target audience, involving activities such as (but not limited to) engaging in the comments section.

  • Collaborate across the marketing department to plan and execute larger marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs across all social channels while ensuring social content aligns with the overall marketing strategy.

  • Implement best practices for hashtags, tagging, and posting strategies across various channels.

  • Ideate content collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create resonant material for our social communities.

  • Use data to analyze and optimize content based on key insights, focusing on engagement, audience growth, traffic, conversion, and sentiment.

  • Report on channel and campaign performance and make tactical and strategic and adjustments for content optimization.

  • Provide community feedback, analysis, key insights and opportunities to engage the customer community.

  • Find innovative ways to create a deeper relationship between brand and consumers on social media.

  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media, public relations, content production, or community management.

  • Creativity and a passion for social media and story development.

  • Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Google, and YouTube Analytics.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite including video editing and graphic design.

  • Exceptional writing skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing digital landscape
