Senior, Enterprise Project Management

This Senior, Enterprise Project Manager will report to the Director, Enterprise Project Management and will be responsible for projects from initiation through go live(s) to then facilitate transition to business as usual.  This includes standing up the project foundation, confirming scope of work, planning, execution of the plan with clear governance, monitoring through go lives, and closure activities. 

  • Project portfolio to include Food & Beverage, Retail, Lodging, ecommerce, and Gaming

  • Serve as a project leader cross-functionally, across multiple, simultaneous projects for high profile enterprise accounts

  • Projects range in size and complexity and include implementation of payments, interfaces, devices, and (in F&B) Shift4 point of sale

  • Define and manage scope of work, changes, communication, quality, risks and issues, of each project through agreed upon project governance

  • Develop and execute a detailed project plan

  • Consistently take initiative to prioritize and complete tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and autonomously problem solve

  • Accountable for communicating with all stakeholders to ensure they are prepared to implement our products, services, and solutions within the scope of work

  • Monitors project performance and identifies areas where new/improved plans can improve the quality of existing services as well as recommend means for improvement, including procedural steps, increased training, and enhanced documentation

  • Create and lead project presentations, recurring meetings, define and track risks, actions, issues, and decisions

  • Prioritizes projects and tasks to achieve department and company objectives

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to target messages to the right level of detail within the organization

  • Provides accurate, complete, and timely status reports to all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Learn underlying system technologies that are being delivered in the project

  • Work to minimize scope creep and facilitates transition to support where appropriate to bring projects to close

  • Document lessons learned and facilitate transition to business as usual with Enterprise Support and Account Management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience

  • Must have a proven history of effective ownership and accountability for project success, customer service oriented, with problem-solving aptitude

  • Must be able to work independently and lead cross functional project teams

  • Experience managing projects in payment industry - strongly preferred

  • Experience implementing complex solutions for large, high-profile accounts

  • Experience managing payments implementations, integrations, or point of sale projects preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively with extremely technical resources and those with a non-technical, business background, with varying degrees of interest and responsibility, up to an including C-level Executives

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, matrix environment, with tight, often inflexible timelines

  • Ability to provide professional and interpersonal communication when interacting with others

  • Conflict resolution and team management experience

  • Experience creating client-facing documentation and lead formal presentations

  • Knowledge of collaboration and productivity tools like the Google Suite

  • Ability to travel to site for project go live or as needed to meet the merchant, <15% of time

  • Ability to work non-standard hours to accommodate project timeline across various time-zones
