People & Operations Coordinator

About Us

We are an NYC based creative studio that partners with category-defining tech companies, to engineer virality for fundraise announcements and product launches that dominate X (Twitter) and LinkedIn feeds, reaching tens of millions of views. With our Emmy-Winning creative team as the backbone of each campaign.

We’re scaling quickly (~50+ team members and growing), and are looking for someone to take ownership of the day-to-day operations across payroll, onboarding, invoicing, and employee management.


What You’ll Do

You will own the execution of core internal operations across both employee management and basic financial workflows — ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Payroll & Compensation

  • Run and manage payroll for salaried employees

  • Calculate and process overtime payments accurately

  • Ensure all payments are correct, on time, and documented

  • Coordinate with payroll systems/tools and resolve discrepancies

Onboarding & Employee Setup

  • Own onboarding for all new hires

  • Send and track employment contracts

  • Set up employees in Slack, email, and internal tools

  • Grant appropriate access to software, accounts, and resources

  • Ensure a smooth and organized onboarding experience

People Operations & Admin

  • Track and manage PTO across the team

  • Maintain organized employee records and documentation

  • Handle access management (adding/removing tools, permissions)

  • Support general employee requests and internal operations

  • Help improve and document internal processes over time

Invoicing & Basic Finance Ops

  • Prepare and send client invoices based on internal templates

  • Ensure invoices are accurate and aligned with agreed terms

  • Track invoice status (sent, paid, overdue)

  • Follow up on outstanding invoices when needed

  • Coordinate with leadership on any discrepancies or questions


Who You Are

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong with numbers and comfortable handling payroll + invoices

  • Reliable — you don’t let things slip through the cracks

  • Process-driven and able to follow structured workflows

  • Proactive and able to figure things out without constant direction

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment


Nice to Have

  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, Rippling, ADP, etc.)

  • Experience sending invoices (QuickBooks, Stripe, etc.)

  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, etc.

  • Previous experience in an agency or startup environment


What Success Looks Like

  • Payroll is consistently accurate and on time

  • Invoices are sent promptly and tracked properly

  • New hires are onboarded quickly and smoothly

  • Employee access and accounts are always properly managed

  • PTO and employee records are clean and up to date

  • Internal operations run without bottlenecks or confusion
