About the Role

We’re seeking a Sales Manager to build and lead a new, high-performing sales team. This is a player-coach role for an experienced SaaS sales leader who can hire, develop, and inspire a team while continuing to sell strategically. You’ll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach, refining our sales playbook, and driving expansion in key public-sector markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard an initial team of 5–6 Account Executives

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue goals

  • Personally manage and close new business opportunities, maintaining an active portion of the sales pipeline

  • Oversee forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance reporting to ensure predictable results

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns, messaging, and target segments

  • Develop and refine sales processes, enablement materials, and vertical-specific strategies

  • Provide data-driven insights to leadership on pricing, packaging, and market trends

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or player-coach capacity

  • Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and scaling a sales team

  • Consistent record of exceeding personal and team quotas

  • Deep understanding of consultative sales, pipeline management, and CRM discipline (HubSpot experience a plus)

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills

  • Experience selling to public-sector or enterprise customers preferred
