About the Role
We’re seeking a Sales Manager to build and lead a new, high-performing sales team. This is a player-coach role for an experienced SaaS sales leader who can hire, develop, and inspire a team while continuing to sell strategically. You’ll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach, refining our sales playbook, and driving expansion in key public-sector markets.
What You’ll Do
Recruit, hire, and onboard an initial team of 5–6 Account Executives
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue goals
Personally manage and close new business opportunities, maintaining an active portion of the sales pipeline
Oversee forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance reporting to ensure predictable results
Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns, messaging, and target segments
Develop and refine sales processes, enablement materials, and vertical-specific strategies
Provide data-driven insights to leadership on pricing, packaging, and market trends
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or player-coach capacity
Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and scaling a sales team
Consistent record of exceeding personal and team quotas
Deep understanding of consultative sales, pipeline management, and CRM discipline (HubSpot experience a plus)
Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills
Experience selling to public-sector or enterprise customers preferred
