Business Analyst & Project Manager, Remote · EU-Based · Full-Time
About Strategy Overview
Strategy Overview is a SaaS platform built for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that transforms how vCIOs and account managers run their client strategy sessions. We automate the heavy lifting behind QBRs, strategic roadmaps, and business reviews — so MSP teams can spend less time building decks and more time delivering value to their clients.
We're a focused, fast-moving team that takes product quality seriously. If you love turning complexity into clarity and want to help shape a platform used by MSPs across North America and Europe, this role is for you.
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, structured thinker to join us as a Business Analyst & Project Manager. This is a hybrid role — part investigator, part executor. You'll spend roughly two-thirds of your time on business analysis: understanding how our users work, documenting requirements, and helping translate customer needs into product decisions. The remaining third is project management: keeping cross-functional initiatives on track, coordinating between product, engineering, and customer success.
This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives at the intersection of process and product — someone who's as comfortable mapping a workflow as they are running a sprint review.
What You'll Do
Business Analysis
Conduct discovery sessions with customers and internal stakeholders to surface pain points, unmet needs, and process gaps
Document requirements clearly — user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data models — in a way that engineering can build from and stakeholders can review
Analyze usage patterns, support tickets, and customer feedback to identify trends and prioritization signals
Map current-state and future-state workflows for both our platform and the MSP businesses we serve
Work closely with the Product lead to translate insights into structured feature briefs and backlog items
Support UAT: define test cases, coordinate testing with customers or QA, and verify outcomes against requirements
Project Management
Own the coordination of product and operational initiatives from kickoff to completion — defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and accountability
Run and document sprint ceremonies: planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews
Maintain a clean, up-to-date project tracker and surface blockers proactively before they become delays
Communicate status clearly to stakeholders — written updates that are concise and actionable, not long-winded
Manage timelines for customer onboarding projects and feature rollouts where cross-team coordination is required
Identify process inefficiencies in how the team operates and propose improvements
What We're Looking For
Required
3+ years in a business analyst, systems analyst, or product operations role — ideally within a SaaS or tech company
Demonstrated experience writing clear, structured requirements (user stories, BRDs, or similar)
Hands-on project management experience — you've actually run projects end-to-end, not just supported them
Strong written communication skills in English — your documentation is something people actually read
Comfortable working async and remote-first across time zones
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Confluence, or similar project/documentation platforms
Based in the EU with full authorization to work — no sponsorship available at this time
Nice to Have
Background in MSP, IT services, or B2B SaaS environments
Experience working with product managers in an agile/scrum environment
Exposure to customer success or professional services workflows
Familiarity with process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Miro, draw.io)
Understanding of vCIO or strategic account management concepts
Who Thrives Here
You're a self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do next. You ask good questions before diving in, and you know the difference between a thorough requirement and an over-engineered one. You care about outcomes, not just outputs. You're organized without being rigid, and you know when to move fast and when to slow down and get alignment first.
Don't let this one get away.
