We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing & DevRel team and help grow Supabase's presence across social platforms, with a primary focus on Twitter/X. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams, shaping how developers discover, talk about, and engage with Supabase online.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Own and grow Supabase's social accounts (X, Threads, Bluesky, etc.), developing the voice, cadence, and content strategy that resonates with developers.

• Create original content (tweets, threads, shorts, memes, visual posts) that drives engagement and follower growth.

• Engage with the developer community: reply, join conversations, and build relationships with developers, founders, and creators.

• Monitor trends, conversations, and sentiment across developer Twitter to identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to amplify launches, features, and milestones (e.g., Launch Weeks, open source updates, community wins).

• Champion the Supabase brand voice — sharp, developer-native, and fun.

• Memes.

You Might Be a Good Fit If You

• Have 3–5+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a developer-focused or technical product.

• Have a proven track record of growing an audience on Twitter/X, ideally in dev tools, open source, or SaaS.

• Understand developer culture, memes, and the nuances of how technical audiences engage online.

• Can write in a voice that feels native to developer Twitter: concise, witty, and technically credible.

• Are comfortable working async in a globally distributed, remote-first team.

• Are energized by community interaction — you enjoy being in the replies, not just scheduling posts.

• Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly.

• Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences.
