What You'll Actually Do
Our clients are making high-stakes decisions in the dark. You will change that. Your job is to take fragmented, messy data, spread across disconnected tools and systems, and turn it into a single source of operational truth.
You will own the full data lifecycle: from extraction and cleaning, through transformation and modeling, to compelling dashboards that surface the insights leaders actually act on. You won't hand off steps to other people — you'll own the pipeline start to finish and deliver clarity that drives real decisions.
You'll also layer in automation and AI where they make the data smarter, fresher, and less dependent on manual effort. If there's a better way to do it, you'll find it.
Day in the Life
Embedded in multiple client engagements at a time, owning the data function end-to-end
Identify what data matters, figure out how to get it, clean and structure it, and deliver dashboards and insights that give decision-makers clarity
Act as a strategic data partner who can trace business problems back to the data and deliver solutions that change how leadership operates
Why This Changes Everything for You
Escape corporate bureaucracy, endless approvals, and tenure-based ladders — impact is measured by results, not time-in-seat
If you’ve been the “only data person” and loved ownership but lacked opportunity — this is your upgrade: end-to-end ownership plus an elite team backing you up
What We Need
Full data lifecycle ownership: extraction, cleaning, transformation, modeling, visualization
Builder mentality: you don’t wait for a data engineer — you build, own, and fix pipelines
Analytical clarity: translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Autonomy: identify what data is needed and deliver answers without micromanagement
Curiosity: sharp on new tools, automation, and AI capabilities
Communication skills: present findings clearly to non-technical audiences; client-facing experience a plus
Professional English fluency: B2 level minimum
Ideal Background
2–5 years in BI, data analyst, or analytics engineering roles
Experience in professional services, consulting, or agencies strongly preferred
Background in companies of 50–200 people where you wore multiple hats
Proven ownership of the full data lifecycle
Experience extracting and working with data from multiple systems (APIs, CRM, PM tools)
Familiarity with CRM/PM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Airtable)
Experience with BI tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase)
Experience with data infrastructure (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt)
Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n)
Exposure to AI/GenAI applied to data workflows
Comfort working with REST APIs for data extraction/integration
Portfolio or work samples preferred
This Role Will NOT Be a Fit If
You’ve specialized in only one part of the data stack
You’ve only worked in large data teams with siloed responsibilities
You want to focus purely on analysis without engineering/tooling
You’re looking for a “chill” 40-hour job — this role is intense
You prefer inputs over outputs — here, you own results
You need a structured, predictable corporate environment

Remote: Fully remote, with quarterly in-person meetups (potential lineup: USA, Tokyo, Dubai, Bangkok)

Operate in focused 4-week sprints with clear goals and success metrics
Compensation
Competitive salary
Performance-based bonus & promotion path
Flexible benefits
Career-defining growth investment: over $200,000 spent last year on team development, coaching, certifications, and training
Our Mission
The legal industry is broken, outdated, overpriced, and structurally rigged against innovation and access. Today, 92% of low-income households can't afford legal help, and reform is blocked by laws prohibiting non-lawyers from owning or operating law firms.
Our mission: equip law firms with cutting-edge tech and world-class operations to deliver faster, better, and more affordable legal services at scale.
Swans Core Values
Relentless Excellence: “We pursue mastery in every detail, not for perfection's sake, but because success with our clients and mission requires it.”
Radical Integrity: “We choose transparency, honesty, and accountability, not for virtue's sake, but because trust is the only way our work succeeds.”
Sincere Care: “We care enough to anticipate needs and act with empathy and intention, because genuine connection drives everything we build.”
