Video Marketing Strategist (B2B) Full-Time, Remote (Travel Required)

We’re hiring a Video Marketing Strategist who can sit across the table from senior marketers and confidently answer:

“If video is supposed to move the needle… what should we actually be making, and why?”

This is a strategy seat with real ownership — you’ll run a portfolio of clients (with your coordinator) and ensure video strategy turns into high-performing creative.

This is a high-growth role for someone early in their strategy career (typically 3–6 years experience) who wants to become a senior video & marketing strategist.

What you’ll do

You’ll own strategy + account health for around 5–8 B2B clients, including:

  • Leading client calls and presenting quarterly QBRs

  • Owning client relationships and health

  • Auditing video ecosystems (website, ads, YouTube, social, sales enablement, events)

  • Analyzing competitors and identifying gaps/opportunities

  • Building clear video roadmaps aligned to business goals + funnel

  • Turning strategy into creative direction the team can execute

  • Driving performance: distribution, repurposing, campaign usage, iteration

  • Reviewing deliverables and giving clear feedback to editors/production

  • Creating episode outlines, hooks, scripting/refinement, thumbnail direction

  • Occasional travel for shoots/sprints to coach/direct on set

Must-haves

  • Strong presentation skills (you’ll lead weekly calls + QBRs)

  • Strong creative taste (you know what will and won’t work on camera)

  • Organized and can follow processes (or build them!)

  • Deep interest in digital marketing and AI-enabled workflows

  • Understands content marketing analytics & performance

  • 3+ years experience in B2B marketing, content strategy, video marketing, or agency client services

This role is NOT for you if…

  • You want to be primarily a videographer/editor

  • You prefer execution-only roles vs strategy + client leadership

  • You don’t enjoy presenting, leading calls, or owning outcomes

  • Compensation: $75,000 base + bonus eligibility (client retention & account growth) + benefits
