About the Role

We’re seeking an organized, thoughtful, and collaborative Talent Acquisition Coordinator to deliver an exceptional recruiting experience.

  • Contract: 6 months, with potential to extend or convert to full-time.

  • Reports initially to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

  • Partners with recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers, interview teams, and candidates.

  • Expected to align under Talent Acquisition Operations & Programs as the team evolves.

This is more than scheduling — you’ll help create a consistent, high-quality candidate and hiring team experience while improving processes to scale recruiting effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the Recruiting Process

  • Schedule phone screens, assessments, panel interviews across time zones.

  • Manage complex scheduling with accuracy and responsiveness.

  • Ensure candidates and interview teams have needed information/support.

  • Proactively resolve conflicts, gaps, and delays.

Deliver an Exceptional Candidate Experience

  • Provide consistent, high-touch communication and support.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for candidates.

  • Anticipate candidate needs and reflect Tailscale’s culture.

  • Partner with recruiters to keep candidates engaged.

Partner with Talent Acquisition & Hiring Teams

  • Build strong relationships with recruiters, sourcers, managers, and interviewers.

  • Support interview logistics, pre-briefs, debriefs, and coordination.

  • Communicate proactively when issues arise.

Support Recruiting Operations

  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, records, workflows, and documentation.

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

  • Partner on reporting, documentation, tools, and automation.

  • Support adoption of recruiting technology and AI-enabled tools.

Contribute to TA Programs & Projects

  • Support programs that improve candidate experience and recruiting effectiveness.

  • Maintain resources, templates, and team knowledge.

  • Contribute to employer brand, referrals, events, and other initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in recruiting coordination, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations.

  • Ability to manage complex scheduling across stakeholders and time zones.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Proactive problem-solving and sound judgment.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

  • Ownership, urgency, and adaptability.

  • Experience with recruiting systems/tools (Greenhouse, ModernLoop, Google Workspace, Slack).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in high-growth or globally distributed tech companies.

  • Coordinating technical, GTM, or executive interviews.

  • Improving recruiting workflows/processes.

  • Comfort with data, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

  • Track record of exceptional candidate/hiring team experience.

Compensation

  • CAN Pay Range: $53–$60 CAD (contract role, not eligible for full-time benefits).
