
Social Media and Communications Manager

We are looking for an experienced Social Media and Communications manager for our consumer channels on our Marketing team at Talkspace. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about engaging and growing audiences. We are looking for someone who is an expert in executing organic social/digital campaigns and wants to bring their talents into a “for purpose” space. What You’ll Do:
Social Media Content
In partnership with the Director of Communication and Director of Brand Marketing, you’ll establish an overarching owned social media channel strategy aligned to organic growth goals and overall business, with emphasis on consumer channels.
Develop and manage a social content calendar, including evergreen and culturally/seasonally-relevant media content to attract, engage and grow the Talkspace audience across all digital platforms (including but not limited to social networks, email, website, and blog), working in collaboration with SEO team to repurpose or co-create necessary blog content.
Work with in-house creative and clinical teams to create assets and deliverables.
Create and execute organic social/digital campaigns to attract, engage and grow the Talkspace audience in partnership with the paid media and wider integrated marketing team.
Stay up-to-date on current social media trends and implement them for the brand.
Strategize and research for new social platforms in order to launch, create guidelines and plan of action for growth in new online communities.
Clinical Communications and Thought Leadership
Expand the reach of our clinical communications on social platforms, assist our clinical expert spokespersons (Council of Mental Health Experts) in creating and filming content that raises Talkspace’s authority and social media presence.
Assist in LinkedIn content creation and copywriting as needed.
Community Management
React to crises, respond to messages and comments, and actively engage with other accounts across all platforms.
Liaise with Customer Support teams on all relevant customer matters.
PR & Brand Partnerships
Craft campaigns for influencers, content creators, and other brand partners, manage budget, approve creative assets and copy.
Collaborate with potential social brand partners and effectively execute mutually beneficial co-branded campaigns.
Responsible for incorporating press coverage into our social media and uploading onto our company website.
Assist team on PR/media needs and brand partners.
Reporting
Manage, track, and report weekly and monthly performance for all social channels.
Track and report clinical content performance on social channels.
Teamwork
Assist with Communications and Brand needs as called upon.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Product Development and CX teams in order to effectively use our online platforms across the company.
About You
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
3-5 years relevant experience in social media on behalf of a consumer brand.
Experience with publishing platforms such as Sprout, is a must.
Experience in influencer and content marketing is preferred.
Experience in Facebook Business Manager is a plus.
Experience in graphic design is a plus.
Must have exceptional communication and the ability to utilize a consistent brand voice.
