Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will lead our Account Executive team, driving sales performance and executing strategic sales initiatives. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets for key accounts. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manage and mentor a team of Account Executives, fostering a high performance culture through quality coaching and continuous development

  • Collaborate with the VP, Sales and Partnerships to implement sales strategies that align with overall company goals and objectives

  • Monitor the team’s performance through key metrics, providing regular feedback and reviews

  • Identify training needs and facilitate the development of team capabilities and effectiveness

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring effective forecasting and reporting on sales activities, trends, issues, and opportunities

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve sales processes and support prospects and customers

  • Recruit and onboard new Account Executives to the team

WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve performance

  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tools, such as Salesforce

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience selling at a Shopify technology partner company

  • Experience selling e-commerce solutions

  • Master’s degree in a related field, such as an MBA

$130,000 - $150,000 a year
