The Media Buyer is responsible for the overall strategy and management of Client ad accounts. Meeting with clients on a regular basis to discuss account strategy and metrics. They are responsible for effectively communicating with the Creative Manager to identify high performing creatives and how ads can be tweaked or  improved to facilitate higher conversion rate. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of Advertising Platforms includes programming Ad Campaigns

    • Participate in Client Onboarding 

    • Uploading creative

    • Generate unique tracking links

    • Perform dynamic creative tests on Meta

    • Generate audiences and develop campaign strategy including

      • Customer avatar

    • Provide input on account strategy

    • Participate in Ad Creation direction

    • Participate in Ad copy optimization 

    • Campaign structures using Consolidation, DCT, and CBO

    • Performs analysis of the campaign results including DCT campaigns.

    •  Includes daily checks of each Ad Account(s) at minimum (3) times per day, 

    • Check the health of Ad Account(s) to protect from losses generated by errors, Platform problems, technology failures; 

    • Look for opportunities to scale spend within accepted perimeters. 

  • Account Maintenance 

    • Includes leading the effort of working with Ad Platform to ensure Policy is followed

    • Respond to changes in Advertising Ecosystem

    • Ensure that Account Health is protected (examples include detailing 8 conversion events, requesting Domain Verification from Client, and assuring that all ads are pre approved in the policy and compliance process.

  • Review Reports on account performance and provide weekly reports to Client

    • Daily reports on account KPIs and health

    • Templated weekly reports

    • Monthly roll-up reports

    • Brief narrative that explains the account performance and steps taken to optimize ads or prevent loss

    • Data analysis per creatives / copy - what’s working and what is not.

  • Periodically perform Audits

    •  At the beginning of projects to ensure analytics and Ad Platforms are set up following industry best practices.

    • Throughout the campaign life to assure all is functioning properly and identify bugs or glitches

  • Collaborate with the team

    • Work directly with the Creative Manager to develop ad strategies and suggest creative solutions.

    • Work with the Project Manager and or team to establish systems and / or follow systems

    • Attend meetings with the team to discuss account health and other aspects of serving the clients needs.

  •  Client Communication 

    • Attend and lead meetings along with other team members and the client to discuss the client’s account

    • Engage and interact with the Client in Slack or via Email as needed

  • Growth and Continuing Education:

    • Education in and use of AI tools for strategy, ad copy, creative briefs

    • Stay abreast of the latest changes in the industry and deployment of those changes
