🔹 About the Role

At Tekton Labs, we're looking for a UX/UI Designer to support a project in the banking and payments industry. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, QA, and business teams to design seamless digital experiences across mobile apps, support channels, and more.

This is a hands-on role focused on translating complex requirements into clear, elegant, and user-centered solutions — while aligning with regulatory, technical, and brand guidelines.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and secure user flows across key user journeys

• Create high-fidelity prototypes and run usability tests focused on task success and clarity

• Map happy paths, edge cases (sad paths), and user journeys across touchpoints (app, support, onboarding, etc.)

• Translate diverse user needs into adaptive, accessible experiences

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to define priorities and scope

• Ensure consistent UI aligned with the project’s Design System

• Conduct user research using multiple qualitative and quantitative methods

• Analyze research data, triangulate findings, and generate clear, actionable recommendations

• Contribute to defining and improving customer support experience flows

• Partner with legal, security, and compliance stakeholders to ensure requirements are met without sacrificing usability

🛠️ Tools & Skills

• Figma (Design System, prototyping, UI kits)

• UXCam (session recording, user behavior)

• Dovetail (research synthesis)

• FigJam (collaboration, journey mapping)

• Strong UX writing and communication in both English and Spanish

• Ability to navigate projects in high-regulation industries (banking/finance experience is a plus)
