
HR Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our global HR processes. You’ll lead the operational side of our HR business, ensuring that processes, policies, and systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our business goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, genuinely dynamic environment and has experience scaling HR functions internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and systems across multiple geographies, especially in Europe and the US.
Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international labor laws and regulations
Manage relationship with our HR employment providers that we use to hire remote employees
Source and evaluate external suppliers for various services including outstaffing, EOR and immigration/relocation services.
Manage our HRIS, ensuring that the system adapts to our evolving needs, creating new processes as needed. Ensure data compliance.
Oversee employee lifecycle processes: hiring and firing processes, data management, documentation, and reporting
Partner with legal and finance teams on HR compliance and audit matters
Oversee payroll operations across regions in collaboration with external providers and internal finance teams. Seek opportunities to add efficiency and automation.
Generally become a champion for HR process automation and system improvements to drive operational efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
Coordinate relocation, visa, and international employment processes as needed
Partner closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, IT, and other departments to ensure aligned and scalable HR support
Requirments
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
8+ years of progressive HR operations experience, with at least 4 years experience in a management/leading role.
Experience managing HR across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, HiBob, etc.)
Familiarity with global payroll, benefits administration, and labor law compliance
Proven track record of process improvement and automation
Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to a fast-evolving business environment
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
