Role Description

Upfeat Media is looking for a Quantitative Analyst who has experience in developing performance measurement indicators and tracking progress toward targets. The successful candidate will collect and analyze internal and external data in the e-commerce and consumer goods space and develop tools and models to identify growth opportunities and propose recommendations or solutions that align with the Company's strategic direction. 

The Quantitative Analyst thrives in a technology-focused company and loves learning and experimenting with new ideas. We are also looking for someone who loves pushing themselves to achieve bigger and better things.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and supporting quantitative models across multiple consumer goods categories

  • Supporting and assisting with the development and maintenance of codebase as required

  • Research and development of macroeconomic ecommerce forecasts and signals

  • Helping team members make well-informed decisions

  • Liaising with internal teams to provide market insights

Qualifications:

  • Strong research and development skills and proficiency with computational based analysis

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical/critical thinking and communication skills

  • A positive team player who is extremely tech-savvy

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics

  • 2-3 years' work experience in quantitative analysis, data analysis, machine learning, coding, and/or econometrics
