Growth & Lifecycle Manager (Africa)

About Viveo

Viveo Health is a healthcare enablement platform connecting insured populations with medical service providers.

We work with global insurance brokers (incl. WTW) and currently have 350 000+ insured users under contracts in Africa who must be activated and connected to clinics and hospitals.

Our model is simple:

  • we bring patients to clinics,

  • clinics give discounts in return,

  • we remove admin work and enable digital booking via API or Viveo’s own system.

  • Execution matters more than theory.

Your Mission

You own the entire user lifecycle in Africa — from first contact to repeat usage.

Your success is measured by activation, usage and retention, not presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer lifecycle: onboarding → activation → engagement → retention

  • Ensure insured users actually book and visit clinics

  • Design and run WhatsApp, SMS, Email and Push campaigns

  • Build clear lifecycle flows for:

    • first booking

    • follow-up visits

    • reactivation of inactive users

  • Segment users by country, employer, clinic usage, behavior

  • Run A/B tests and track conversion, retention and usage

  • Turn chaos into repeatable playbooks

  • Work closely with:

    • Country Lead (Africa)

    • Clinic onboarding team

    • Product & Ops

What You Will NOT Do

  • No brand fluff

  • No “growth hacks” without real impact

  • No vanity metrics

This is an execution-heavy role.

Ideal Profile

  • 3 years in Growth / CRM / Lifecycle / Operations

  • Strong experience with WhatsApp & SMS-driven markets

  • Background in emerging markets is a big plus

  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, telco or insurtech preferred

  • Data-driven, hands-on, not afraid to get into details

  • Comfortable working across cultures and countries

  • Speaks English (French is a strong plus)

Tools & Stack

  • CRM / Lifecycle tools (Braze, CleverTap, MoEngage or similar)

  • WhatsApp Business APIs

  • Analytics & cohort tracking

  • Close collaboration with product & engineering

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

  • Majority of insured users activated

  • Clear lifecycle funnels live

  • Clinics receiving consistent patient flow

  • Retention increasing month over month

  • Scalable playbook ready for new African markets
