Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Azure DevOps Engineer with experience supporting
software delivery in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or regulated domains. You’ll take
ownership of Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning, with a
forward view toward containerization, compliance, and hybrid cloud optimization. This isn’t just
support—it’s platform engineering for systems that matter.
 

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Automation
o Design, build, and maintain Azure Pipelines for reliable, multi-stage deployments.
o Implement security gates, test automation, artifact versioning, and rollback
mechanisms.

Infrastructure Management
o Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows Server) and SQL
Managed Instances.
o Monitor availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of compute and data
services.

Source Control and Collaboration
o Manage version control, permissions, and branching strategies in Azure Repos.
o Collaborate with developers, QA, and compliance teams in a secure SDLC
process

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering. 

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

Advanced English Level (C1) with experience working with US teams.

5+ experience managing Azure Resources using Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management (APIs), and Azure Data Factory for:

• Design, manage, maintain, and optimize CI/CD Systems

• Design, manage, maintain, and optimize IT Infrastructure

• Experience and expertise in creating bash scripts.

• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Fluxcd, ArgosCD, and Terraform.

• Implement infrastructure as Code and dynamic environments. 

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools.

• Expert programming skills using C# and .NET technologies.

Nice to Have

• Azure Functions and serverless architectures for event-driven tasks

• AWS S3 and Lambda experience for managing cross-cloud static sites 

• AKS / Azure Containerization

• Exposure to Azure Kubernetes Service, container registry, Helm, and

• infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep)

• Help define a container strategy for faster, repeatable dev/test environments
