
E-Commerce Site Manager

As the E-commerce Site Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and optimize the performance of our e-commerce website. The ideal candidate works well in collaborative environments and should be able to plan and deliver effective digital strategies. You love to learn, are always curious, and have an extreme eye for detail. You are resourceful and have a track record of getting stuff done. This role reports to the SVP of E-commerce.
Responsibilities
Shopify Plus Administration:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Shopify Plus platform, including catalog management, product updates, inventory management, pricing, and promotions.
Ensure the site is functioning optimally, perform routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features, upgrades, and best practices in Shopify Plus to drive continuous improvement.
User Experience Optimization:
Collaborate with the design and development teams to enhance the user experience (UX) of the e-commerce site, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and reflects the Aerosoles brand.
Conduct regular audits and usability tests to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize conversion rates, reduce bounce rates, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Responsible for end-to-end customer journey/engagement and analytics (a complete view of our relationship with each customer, as well as actionable insights that drive growth).
Implement effective merchandising strategies, including personalized product recommendations, cross-selling, upselling, and promotional campaigns.
Performance Monitoring and Analytics:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as site traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
Utilize data analytics tools to generate actionable insights and provide recommendations to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
Track and analyze customer behavior, preferences, and trends to identify opportunities for targeted marketing campaigns and website enhancements.
Project Management and Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, IT, and customer service teams, to execute e-commerce initiatives and projects.
Manage external partners, such as agencies or consultants, for website development, integration, and optimization projects.
Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree required
8-12 years of experience in a DTC or e-commerce environment
Previous experience in managing a high-volume direct-to-consumer business
Strong skills in strategy, planning, budget, and P&L management
Proficient in Shopify Plus administration, including catalog management, inventory management, and pricing
Proven track record of turning insights into actionable plans
Highly strategic thinker who is able to balance short-term business objectives with the long-term vision needed to advance the e-com channel as a whole
Ability to identify, scope, and implement digital solutions white meeting ROI goals
Must have leadership abilities (dynamic, flexible, positive entrepreneurial attitude)
Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to react to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects at once.
Experience with Google Analytics and Shopify Plus is a must
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. An understanding of the customer voice and customer needs
Willingness to learn how to use new tools and develop new skills as needed
