
Luxury Travel Consultant - South Africa (Remote)
African Safari Group is looking for a driven and dynamic Luxury Travel Consultant to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will work directly with international clients, converting high-value enquiries into unforgettable luxury safari experiences, with a strong focus on South African properties and itineraries.
This is a sales-focused position suited to a confident go-getter who thrives on targets, delivers exceptional service, and can manage multiple clients and bookings at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings through strong consultative selling
Engage confidently with international clients via phone, email, and virtual communication
Design and quote luxury safari itineraries focused primarily on South African destinations
Manage the full booking process from enquiry to confirmation
Liaise with lodges, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintain accurate records, quotes, and client communication in internal systems
Deliver a high level of service while managing multiple enquiries simultaneously
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
Strong sales ability with a proven track record or clear sales-driven mindset
Go-getter attitude with a results-focused approach
Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and tools
Confident and comfortable speaking with clients over the phone
Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload efficiently
Self-motivated and disciplined in a fully remote work environment
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Sabi Sands Game Reserve and the Kruger National Park (lodges, routing, and logistics)
Current experience in sales within the travel or safari industry
Understanding of luxury lodge operations and South African travel planning
