
SEO Manager
Description
What You’ll Do
The SEO Manager for a B2B SaaS company is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the search engine rankings of the company's website and online content. This includes conducting keyword research, analyzing website data, and creating and optimizing content. The SEO Manager will also work closely with the marketing and development teams to ensure that website updates and new features are optimized for search engines. Additionally, the SEO Manager will stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure that the company's SEO efforts are effective and aligned with industry best practices.
Responsibilities
Conducting keyword research to identify high-value target keywords
Optimizing website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements
Analyzing website data and identifying areas for improvement
Collaborating with the marketing team to create and implement a content marketing strategy
Building and maintaining backlinks to the website
Monitoring industry trends and staying up-to-date on changes to search engine algorithms
Tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of SEO efforts
Communicating with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and development to ensure technical SEO needs are met.
Requirements
B2B SaaS SEO experience is mandatory
4+ years of experience in SEO
Should have experience in handling large websites with min. 1M+ Traffic
Should have deep knowledge of Technical and Javascript SEO
In-depth knowledge of how Search engines work and ranking factors
An analytical mindset to extract insights from the data
Should be able to recommend SEO changes that impact the rankings
Should have good experience with SEO Tools - Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google
Analytics, Google Search Console, WordPress, Google Tag Manager
Excellent Excel/Google Spreadsheet Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with website optimization tools, Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills is a plus
Should have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS
Passion for SEO and internet marketing
Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
