Marketing & Events Manager

Position Overview

The Marketing and Events Coordinator at Blue Acorn iCi plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's online presence, managing diverse marketing campaigns, and facilitating various types of corporate events. This multifaceted position requires a strategic thinker with a knack for lead generation, proficiency in various marketing tools, and the ability to collaborate across departments. The Marketing and Events Manager must be self-motivated, proactive and have an assertive yet professional demeanor, be detail oriented, and possess strong multitasking and program management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate Events and Tradeshows: Coordinate corporate events and tradeshows, including GTM strategy, account mapping, client outreach, on-site details, logistics and more. ​​Recommends, develops, and implements effective marketing plans for generating event revenues. Thinks outside the box to create exciting event experiences. 

  • Pardot (Account Engagement) Marketing: Support digital marketing efforts via Pardot. Manage email campaigns, monthly newsletters, landing pages and custom forms. Analyze efforts to identify opportunities and weaknesses within strategies and tactics. Ensure Pardot marketing efforts are tied to Salesforce metrics to track investment, engagement, opportunities, ROI and more. Experience with Salesforce reporting and administration is a plus! 

  • Joint Marketing/Sales Campaigns: Develop and implement strategies for joint marketing and sales campaigns, aligned with our four key industries. Identify opportunities and gaps, creating new initiatives to drive sales metrics. 

  • Marketing/Sales Collateral: Maintain up-to-date marketing and sales collateral repository, including slide deck templates, case studies, whitepapers, solution overviews and more. 

  • Partner Marketing: Help develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners across our ecosystem through comarketing efforts, weekly meetings, business planning, etc.

  • Social Media Management: Own the Blue Acorn iCi social media strategy, including content planning, scheduling, analyzing and reporting. 

  • Internal Marketing: Build awareness of Blue Acorn iCi’s latest insights, solutions, initiatives and offerings within Infosys’s Digital Experience (DX) audience. 

  • Website Enhancement and Design: Assist in publishing, updating and reporting upon Blue Acorn iCi’s corporate website.

  • Advertisement Management: Develop and manage advertising campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn and Google, analyzing their effectiveness and adjusting strategies accordingly. Includes evaluating potential new platforms and/or programs. 

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications or related field with experience in the B2B services industry (preferably in SaaS/Tech).

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within B2B or tech industry.

  • Strong experience and understanding of Pardot and Salesforce.

  • Proven event management experience on a large (tradeshows) and small (intimate client gatherings) scale. 

  • Experience and understanding of marketing/sales technologies including Google Ads, social media marketing (LinkedIn, etc.), Google Analytics, Salesforce and other tools.

  • High attention to detail and ability to articulate trends and results through data.

  • Design experience (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.) is a plus! 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
