About the role

Sounds good right? Ok, let’s move onto some more info about the role. First, the basics:

As a  Paid Search Strategist, you will work across all aspects of clients’ paid search media campaigns, including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimisation, analysis and reporting. You’ll be responsible for implementing strategies that meet and exceed clients’ KPIs and drive their business forward.

What you do 

  • Ensure budgets, optimisations, and performance are executed and aligned with client goals

  • Build campaigns, keywords,  and ads

  • Produce insights, reports and commentary for clients 

  • Ensure agency processes, best practices and tech automation are implemented across your clients’ accounts

  • Support the team with QA checking campaign builds and account changes

  • Communicate performance opportunities & issues with the team while providing ideas for solutions

  • Perform regular analyses and make data-driven recommendations, following our 'test and learn' methodology

Who you are

  • Minimum 4+ years of Experience in Paid Search 

  • You are eager to further develop your paid search expertise by working with some of the world’s top brands and utilizing Brainlabs best practices, processes, and tech. You have 2-4 years experience managing paid search accounts and are curious to learn more advanced strategies and tactics.

  • What particular set of skills would suit this role?

  • Proactive and solutions-focused

  • Passion for marketing and/or the digital world

  • Smart and data-driven approach to work

  • Experience as a Paid Search Strategist

  • Hands-on experience of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and SA360

  • Excellent communication  skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to connect reporting metrics to optimization actions.

  • Able to take direction and then work independently, utilizing paid search skills to identify optimization opportunities

  • Fast and flawless project delivery - Delivering assigned tasks (both ad hoc and recurring) on time by utilizing defined best practices and QA processes to ensure consistency.

  • Client growth - Increasing client investment in paid search over time by optimizing current activity and identifying growth opportunities in current campaigns.
