Account Executive
The Opportunity
Our Sales org is committed to understanding the needs and challenges of our customers, identifying creative and strategic ways that we can help solve their problems, and selling them our solutions when we can add value.
Account Executives (AE) are responsible for understanding our customers and what drives their success, effectively communicating and demonstrating the value of Buildout solutions, and aligning the right solution to solve for the unique challenges of each customer.
As an Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to running product demonstrations, to closing new business and handing off to the appropriate team for the next stage of the customer journey.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be joining a team that loves to brainstorm, to collaborate, to ferret down into their prospect’s problems, and a team that loves to win.
How You’ll Contribute at Buildout
Drive revenue growth in your territory by leading game-changing discovery calls, delivering impactful product demonstrations, drafting on-the-nose proposals, and winning the hearts, minds (and contracts) of your prospects
Be maniacal about your pipeline, building and maintaining a healthy set of opportunities to meet individual sales quota, including monthly and annual ACV goals
Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools
Become a commercial real estate nerd, understanding its tech industry dynamics, emerging opportunities and competitive trends
Be an expert and advocate for Buildout’s product suite, knowing its value to various personas and properly showcasing the right solutions for each customer
Represent Buildout in the market through conferences, customer events, and networking opportunities; travel up to approximately one week per quarter as part of building relationships and driving revenue
Be welcomed into the innovative and collaborative Buildout team. Get to know your teammates and work in sync to deliver our number one mission: a world-class, end-to-end customer experience
Make mistakes, improve for the next time, and develop enviably thick-skin from these experiences to propel you through the rest of your career, at Buildout and beyond
Take the work, but not yourself, seriously
