The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading both Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams for the entire organization, with a special focus on the unique needs of our employee groups relative to our service delivery teams.

As the Head of People + Talent, you will be a dynamic, innovative leader. You will provide our organization with strong leadership, including organizational planning, managing performance cycles, compensation and rewards, coaching managers, navigating employee relations, designing meaningful professional development strategies and leading the strategic design of talent acquisition for the entire organization. This role will also require hiring, supporting, coaching, and training the existing and future People and Talent teams.

Your Typical, Atypical, Day

  • Function as a trusted partner to our service delivery and other executive leaders, supporting and encouraging the team in creating and maintaining a values-driven culture and work environment.

  • Operate as a critical partner to our CEO, supporting him in strengthening and enhancing the connective fabric of the leadership team.

  • Identify, implement, lead, and support organization-wide People + Talent programs and initiatives, functioning as a cultural north star.

  • Support our in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist with hiring plans and strategies, ongoing evaluation and assessment of the hiring process; iterating as organizational needs change and market pressures demand fresh perspectives.

  • Oversee our People Operations Generalist and the day-to-day operations of Internal People, driving and supporting the development of employee engagement programs, the creation, enhancement and application of company policies, and collaborating with Finance to ensure the People Ops / Finance trains are running smoothly and on time.

  • Support and coach managers on employee performance challenges, facilitating performance management processes and offering ongoing coaching + support for both managers and employees.

  • From time to time, you’ll be responsible for change management, internal communications, and spearheading reorganization efforts as we grow and scale the business.

  • Drive our eNPS process and support leaders through performance cycles, including succession planning and identification of high-potential employees.

  • You’ll work closely with leaders across the organization to identify gaps and opportunities, offering guidance and support for the creation and development of strategic plans that address the gaps and opportunities while ensuring alignment with the business strategy.

  • Partner with leaders to promote diversity, inclusion, curiosity, and a values-based culture.

What You’ll Offer

  • You have 10+ years of experience in People Operations and/or Talent Acquisition and have experience operating within an executive leadership team.

  • A track record of success as a leader in a fast-paced company and a background in professional services is strongly preferred.

  • You should possess a broad understanding of People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning + Development, and DEIB.

  • You possess a high EQ and a strong understanding and application of business principles and financial performance indicators.

  • Strong communication is essential – the ability to negotiate, persuade, and coach are all necessary skills in this role.

  • You’ll have experience with change management and internal communications.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets.

  • You’re comfortable identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions, analyzing the results and deciding to iterate, pivot or stay the course.

  • The ability to form strong professional relationships and embrace healthy conflict.

The base pay range target for the role described in this job description is $150,000 – $200,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition, full-time regular positions are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time employees.
