Responsibilities

• Build web applications with web development best practices

• Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases

• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design 

• Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations

• On-site search engine optimization (SEO)

• Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code

• Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends

Gotta Have

• 3-5 years of professional experience

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to discuss the needs, design, and functionality of a website or interface

• Create prototypes and mockups of websites or applications

• Master the use of HTML, XML, and other appropriate web programming languages to write code for the website

• Logical, functional portfolio site with samples 

• Stellar communication skills, written/verbal

• Pure code chops! You do not need graphic designer chops

• Able to troubleshoot difficult or sensitive problems and find positive solutions
