You’re a digital ad operations expert with advanced experience in programmatic ad technology and managing an ad server. You understand how to prioritize user experience while optimizing the delivery, yield and performance of our ad sales efforts. You are passionate about owning projects from start to finish, delivering results at a high level and having a voice in the direction of our success. What You’ll Do
Reporting to the VP of Digital Ad Sales, you will own the digital ad operations process including inventory management, ad delivery, yield optimization and reporting for 3 billion monthly ad impressions across chess.com and our mobile applications.
Manage and ensure the health of the ad server (Google Ad Manager)
Partner with Sales and Engineering to launch and deliver campaigns. This can include integrations with SSPs and DSPs, private marketplace deals and sponsorship campaigns.
Assist with the management of our programmatic accounts including QBRs, deal IDs, optimizations, performance and troubleshooting.
Establish best practices for ad operations workflow, monitor and solve campaign-related issues as well as collaborate with internal teams to test new ad formats, placements and any other performance levers.
3+ years’ experience in publisher-side digital ad operations in desktop and mobile app media including programmatic (open and private) and direct sales.
Expertise and skill in Google Ad Manager Small Business or 360, including inventory and ad delivery management, reviewing assets for compatibility, ad quality management, and other steps critical to the ad trafficking process.
In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry including ad technology solutions within the DSP and SSP to publisher ecosystem.
Experience with activating and managing Prebid, TAM and OB platform connections as well as deal ID maintenance
Confident in analyzing and acting on marketing/ delivery data.
Knowledge of web, android and iOS platforms
Strong collaboration skills
