About the Role
cocokind is seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our skincare-obsessed team! You will be responsible for owning and executing marketing activities that increase brand awareness and drive growth across the business's multiple touchpoints, including brand, retail, and digital. The ideal candidate is eager to learn fast in a dynamic environment with a passion for problem-solving and working cross-functionally to bring big ideas to life! This role reports to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and will collaborate with the content, influencer, creative, digital, and retail teams.
What you’ll do:
In partnership with the marketing team, contribute to successfully executing brand campaigns and marketing briefs that showcase cocokind’s values and build awareness.
Manage monthly updates to the integrated marketing calendar, syncing with channel partners to ensure up-to-date activities across the business.
Oversee asset organization and help create go-to-market decks for key launches and marketing initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with influencer & content teams to proactively identify our next big ideas; including creators or brands to partner with and anticipating trends to engage with.
Assist Brand Manager in creating innovative campaign concepts, copy, and creative; helping ensure accuracy and brand voice consistency.
Oversee project management for digital requests (copywriting and assets) in partnership with Brand Manager.
Keep a pulse on the beauty industry and ideate new ways to excite and influence our consumers (including merch, events, and content)
Project manage new item setup, ad-hoc asset, copy, and merchandising requests from retail partners.
Support photoshoots and creative projects, including logistics, on-set assistance, and briefing to help develop visually compelling content.
Help ideate and support the creation of innovative merch that excites and delights our influencer, creator, and customer communities.
Manage and maintain primary product information and FAQ docs to help keep the teams organized and updated.
Support the creation of marketing materials for in-store activations and retail expansions.
Who you are:
2+ years of professional marketing experience, beauty industry experience preferred
You have a growth mindset and are eager to learn and be exposed to many facets of marketing
You are resourceful and consistently think quickly, creatively, and outside of the box
You approach challenges with positivity and are motivated to find creative solutions
You are highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for spreadsheets and project management tools like Asana
You are a collaborator who thrives on teamwork and has strong interpersonal communication skills
You are passionate about beauty and always keeping a pulse on trends
You have experience and a desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
You have (or want to develop) strong storytelling & copywriting skills
