B2B Marketing Manager

The B2B Marketing Manager opportunity is with Colibri Group's esteemed accounting brand, Becker Professional Education. For over 60 years, Becker has been the partner accountants trust with their professional education.

Position Overview 

The B2B Marketing Manager will focus on developing and executing B2B marketing strategies for the Accounting ecosystem (Becker Professional Education) marketing team. This individual will set the standard for driving new B2B leads for the sales team, developing and executing strategic multi-channel account-based marketing tactics, and B2B2C communication strategies to drive consumer sales through B2B channels.

You have a strong analytical skill set that allows you to keep an eye on the marketplace and build strategies that target customers. You deeply understand our value proposition, unique selling proposition, key messages, target audiences, personas, and more. Your ability to dial into our B2B audiences, develop strong messaging for different channels, and manage projects from inception to completion will be essential to achieving success in this role. 

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to support and contribute to the B2B marketing GTM strategy 

  • Create and implement strategic multi-channel campaigns targeted at lead generation, driving and growing revenue, customer engagement, retention and market share 

  • Work with Colibri’s centralized marketing team to produce highly engaged GTM campaigns  

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company (specifically the B2B Sales team) to approach challenges collaboratively and align activities to achieve desired results 

  • Define, track and measure results and make recommended adjustments as needed, optimize to performance 

  • Partner closely with marketing team around demand generation to define content themes and determine the appropriate mix of top, middle, and bottom of funnel content 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our value proposition, unique selling proposition, key messages, target audiences, personas, and influencers. 

  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop content in a variety of formats including blog posts and articles, eBooks, infographics, videos, webinars etc. 

  • Produce B2B ads and landing page content that attract qualified traffic and convert into action. This would include CTA’s, headlines, and taglines that will help achieve content objectives 

  • Provide recommendations for how best to build B2B marketing capabilities that can best drive the business forward

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, and/or 5+ years of related marketing experience 

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or similar field 

  • Strong track record of defining and executing highly effective marketing campaigns in an omni-channel environment 

  • Proven ability to translate brand personality and product capabilities into content assets that engage customers and increase lead generation and conversion rates 

  • Experience with defining content metrics and measuring content effectiveness 

  • Proven track record of executing a growth strategy and driving measurable results 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through execution 

  • Demonstrate a B2B customer-focused mindset and be a champion for the customer 

  • Demonstrate Solution Marketing experience and a track record of developing ABM capabilities, branding, positioning, value proposition development and messaging 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a private equity-backed business and adapt to rapidly-changing business needs 

  • Effective time management skills and prioritization  

  • Professional and proactive work ethic 

  • Exceptional storyteller, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management
