Business Operations Specialist

Position Overview

The Business Operations Specialist provides tactical execution and support for customers, clients, and internal colleagues by ensuring accurate set-up of customer records, contracts, and enrollments to ensure seamless access and a superior learning experience of Becker’s course offerings.  They must excel with working and communicating cross-functionally to drive daily operations. ensuring efficiency and adherence to business processes and customer needs. 

 

This individual should be comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization and must be able to troubleshoot/problem solve ensuring SLA’s are met.  The ideal candidate should be adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks and be capable of seeing the big picture objectives with a keen eye for detail.  

What You'll Do

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of B2B customer records in Salesforce

  • Process CPA direct bill authorization, and hold orders for various Becker clients

  • Complete new Continuing Professional Education (CPE) client set up, enrollment, activation, and maintenance in our proprietary learning management system (LMS)

  • Escalate customer issues on the eCommerce website or LMS to appropriate partner, ensuring follow-up until issue is resolved

  • Prepare and send AICC/SCORM files as required

  • Maintain B2B AICC/SCORM customer master file

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of course schedules in Salesforce

  • Test and implement changes to Salesforce, LMS, and eCommerce website

  • Provide recommendations and suggestions for process/workflow improvements within systems to increase efficiency while maintaining quality standards for customer experience

  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of workflow process Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Actively increase job and product knowledge by participating in trainings and other organizational learning opportunities

  • Complete other duties as assigned

  • May need to travel one to two times per year for department or ecosystem meetings 

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar operations role required

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM strongly preferred  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and resolution abilities

  • Strong time management and attention to detail skills

  • Must be a team player and exhibit a willingness to share and exchange ideas

  • Desire to learn, be engaged, and take initiative

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision

  • Desire to continually learn and actively engage in new opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Flexibility and willingness to take on special projects as assigned

$45,000 - $60,000 a year
