People Operations Associate - Contract Role

Convert is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated People Operations Associate to join our Smooth Ops team! In this pivotal role, you’ll support our incredible team members and contribute to making their journey at Convert an outstanding one.

As the People Operations Associate, you will be at the heart of executing impactful HR programs and initiatives. From welcoming new hires to fostering ongoing engagement, your work will ensure that Convert’s culture of collaboration and excellence thrives. You’ll partner closely with our People Strategy Partner to implement seamless and effective HR strategies that support our dynamic team.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Onboarding and Integration: Lead and facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring a warm and welcoming start for new team members.

  • Performance Management Execution: Roll out performance review cycles and support regular employee check-ins to promote growth and development.

  • IDEA Program Support: Work hand-in-hand with the People Strategy Partner to implement IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) initiatives and assist with training sessions.

  • CharlieHR / HRIS Management: Oversee and maintain employee records, providing training and support to employees on system functionalities.

  • Employee Engagement Activities: Plan and execute engaging initiatives and recognition programs that celebrate our team’s contributions.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or People Operations

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Workspace

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
