What’s the role?

  • Crownpeak is on a growth path in the DACH Region and EMEA. The Account Executive role is meant to fill the gap between content and commerce - with a special focus on growing our Product Discovery business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

What will you do?

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas and build new revenue streams through the expansion and growth of the business relationships with new and existing clients

  • Work with customers to understand and identify their objectives and needs while aligning our products and services where opportunities exist

  • Be responsible for the sale of Cloud, Managed and Professional Services

  • Strive to increase market share and support sales & marketing programs, RFP’s, bids & other customer requirements to grow sales & strengthen relationships

  • Communicate the value proposition and Return on Investment (ROI) to perspective customers

  • Develop and manage sales cycle to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas

  • Thoroughly understand and significantly influence the customer’s decision-making process and leads the customer to positive decisions

  • Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to match products with identified needs

Here are a few skills that we feel would make you successful in the role, but we’d still love to hear from you if you feel you’d be a great fit.

  • Fluent German speaking with excellent presentation & business writing skills

  • Demonstrable Enterprise Sales experience within CMS, Product Discovery, Social Media, Online Marketing, eCommerce, eMail Marketing, Online Lead Enrichment or similar

  • Content Management & Product Discovery knowledge

  • Comfortable creating Sales pipelines & strategies with Sales, Marketing and Executive Leadership Team

  • Proven track record closing sales across multiple verticals and/or complex products

  • Independent thinker, with good judgment skills and proven track record in problem solving

  • Must be capable of balancing general prospecting requirements, fulfilling customer needs and meeting company expectation and goals
