Social Media & Marketing Project Manager

Location: Fully remote, US East Coast(We’re unable to sponsor visas, so we can only accept applications from people who have the right to live & work in the US.)

Reporting to: Jessica Gibson, Chief Brand Officer

Direct reports: None 

Working hours: 8 hours per day

(Team members must be available during our core hours 9-4pm ET, with flexibility outside of that!)

Salary range: $80-100k depending on experience

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. You are the execution engine that ensures a high-volume content and marketing machine runs on time, on brand, and without friction.

While Gabrielle and her Chief Brand Officer define the overarching brand strategy and messaging, your superpower is coordinating and executing every detail to bring that vision to life. This includes hands-on management of our social channels, comprehensive content project management, and meticulous oversight of all video and static marketing assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Calendar & Project Management:

  • Own and manage the master social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Linkedin, and Pinterest, ensuring all content is planned, produced, and scheduled on time.

  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Brand Officer to ensure the social media calendar aligns with and supports all major marketing campaigns, promotions, and launches.

  • Develop and implement streamlined workflows for all content creation, from initial brief to final approval and posting.

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all social media projects, keeping all stakeholders informed of timelines, statuses, and deadlines.

  • Manage a roster of freelance content creators (videographers, producers, editors), including briefing, managing deliverables, and processing invoices.

  • Paid Media Content Pipeline:

  • Act as the primary project manager for all digital paid media creative.

  • Work in close partnership with our external paid media agency to understand their creative needs and testing priorities.

  • Manage a continuous pipeline of new ad creative, ensuring assets are briefed, produced, and delivered to the agency in a timely manner.

  • Execution & Content Creation:

  • Handle the daily posting and scheduling of all organic content across platforms.

  • Utilize design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Descript, Edits, Gemini, ChatGPT and more) to create or adapt basic social media assets, such as audiograms, quote cards, and simple video edits.

  • Maintain a pristine and organized digital asset management system for all social media content.

  • Utilize our internal AI tools (trained in Gabrielle's voice) to create, enhance, or repurpose copy for related to social channels (e.g., transforming a podcast transcript into web-ready copy).

  • Stay on top of industry trends and tools:

  • Keep the team updated on new social media and AI tools.

  • Learn emerging platforms and share practical ways we can use them.

  • Collaborate closely with the team to implement what’s most effective.

  • Stay current on the latest trends, tools, and feature rollouts from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, proactively suggesting new tactics and formats to test.

  • Analytics:

  • Pull and synthesize regular analytics reports to track content performance, audience growth, and key metrics.

  • Community:

  • Coordinate admin team members responsible for monitoring and replying to comments across platforms.

  • Additional Marketing Asset Management:

  • Assist Senior Leadership team in Asset & Workflow Management for new marketing assets, including website landing pages, pop-ups, marketing videos, and physical collateral (e.g. event postcards). 

  • Manage requests for and the curation of digital assets, such as app screen imagery, to be used across various marketing channels.

Please Note: This role is focused on project execution and coordination. It is not responsible for developing the high-level marketing strategy.

  • Project Management Pro: You live and breathe the process. You are a master of tools like Asana and have a proven track record of managing complex content calendars with multiple stakeholders. Your superpower is organization and execution.

  • Operationally Minded: You have a strong interest in social media and marketing strategy but know that your greatest strength lies in operations and project management. You thrive on bringing a creative vision to life.

  • Detail-Obsessed: You have an eagle eye for detail, from catching typos in captions to ensuring brand guidelines are met in every asset. 

  • A Proactive Collaborator: You are an excellent communicator who can work effectively with internal team members, external agencies, and freelance creators.

  • Adaptable & Resourceful: You have experience working in a small, lean team (10-20 people) and are comfortable wearing multiple hats. You are a resourceful problem-solver who can jump in to get the job done.

  • Technically Savvy: You are proficient with social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprout Social) and have hands-on skills with basic design and video editing tools e.g. Descript, Canva etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and social media project management and content operations.

  • Proven experience managing content creation workflows for major social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Direct experience managing freelance creatives and/or agency partners.

  • Experience in a fast-growing personal brand, wellness, or digital media company of a similar size is highly preferred.

  • A genuine interest in Gabrielle Bernstein's work and our mission is a significant plus.
