Senior Account Executive

The Opportunity


Play a pivotal role in continuing DeepStream’s rapid growth. Join our team as a Senior Account Executive, with uncapped commission and equity options post probationary period. Drive strategic sales in the highly innovative procuretech market, interacting with senior stakeholders from a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities


• Close complex deals, quickly: develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their challenges and objectives to tailor strategic solutions that align with their needs.
• Full sales cycle role: from sourcing qualified leads to negotiating and closing deals.
• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to clearly understand and articulate prospects' problems and goals.
• Design and deliver compelling, customised demos, showcasing the relevance and strengths of our solutions.
• Proactively contribute to strategic framing of our value proposition and deliver to prospects in a clear and impactful manner.
• Work alongside Product and CS teams to respond effectively to RFPs and RFIs.
• Apply a value-based selling approach, focusing on the business benefits of our solutions rather than just features.
• Identify and cultivate potential opportunities through initial conversations, employing keen judgement and strategic thinking to forecast sales success.
• Assist prospective clients in navigating their internal buying processes, ensuring our solutions meet their strategic goals.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, maintaining high performance and reporting on sales activity and forecasts.
• Whilst part of a team, you will be expected to drive results independently. You shouldn’t be reliant on an established sales support team. 
• We want someone who is hungry to make an outsized impact as we expand.

Skills & Background


• Between 4-8 years experience in quota carrying (new business) AE role or equivalent, specifically within complex B2B SaaS (ERP/PSA/CRM/S2P/P2P etc).
• Experience operating in mid-market, negotiating and closing deals with ACV of £30-80k+. 
• Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
• Strong capability in running effective product demos and leading end-to-end sales processes.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and respond to client requirements and craft tailored proposals.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and influencing decisions.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Beneficial addition having experience in procurement / supply chain tech.
• Beneficial speaking Spanish/Portuguese/German/French
