Director of Community & Connection
Hey there, superstar! đ
Weâre in search of a Director of Community and Connection at eCommerceFuel. Someone who can make magic by connecting our members to help them grow their business, spark life-long friendships, and help store owners discover their tribe.
Someone wise once said a great community helps members connect with the people and information most impactful for their current situation. Youâll be responsible for making this happen at eCommerceFuel.
A Bit About eCommerceFuel
eCommerceFuel is the worldâs largest community of 7- and 8-figure brand owners with more than 1,200 members. Weâve been connecting experienced entrepreneurs for more than a decade and exist to serve three different groups of people:
Our Members: eCommerceFuel is on a mission to help our members build incredible businesses and equally amazing lives. We believe deeply in entrepreneurship but have too often seen how it hijacks lives and becomes all consuming. eCommerceFuel strives to help entrepreneurs build and grow meaningful businesses without sacrificing the truly important things. đŻ
Our Team: Our goal is for every team member to lead a life of adventure, purpose, and growth. We have high standards and expect a lot from our team. But we respect and understand the importance of your personal life. At ECF thereâs no endless overtime or always-on communication expectations. And did we mention the yearly month-long sabbatical? đ´ The goal is to provide space for our team to work hard, recharge, and have room to pursue the important things in life.
The Vulnerable: We strive to show Godâs love to the vulnerable of the world, especially children and women. đ A meaningful percent of our earnings goes to nonprofits both in the Philippines and the U.S., assisting orphans, refugees, and others.
What Makes UsâŚUs?
Sure, honesty, quality work, and good communication are essential in any company worth its salt. But letâs dig into our unique essence:
Autonomy: As a remote-first company, we value the magic of self-motivation and a robust independent work ethic. If you can rock it on your own and donât need a lot of hand holding youâre speaking our language.
Levity: Weâre a lively bunch! Our daily vibe? Think upbeat, light-hearted, and sprinkled with playful teasing.đ
Reasonableness: We value and encourage strong opinions. But whatâs paramount? The grace and respect with which you express and share them. If youâve got a penchant for peace-making without casting aside your beliefs youâve got the right stuff for our team. If 80% of your social media posts are political rants demonizing others itâs probably not going to be a good fit.
Hospitality: Itâs deeply important that our members feel seen, respected and cared for whether thatâs at a multi-day event or a basic email exchange that leaves them smiling.
Letâs Talk About You
Again, someone wise once said a great community helps members connect with the people and information most impactful for their current situation. Youâll be responsible for making this happen at eCommerceFuel.
In short, youâll be responsible for making sure that once someone joins eCommerceFuel theyâll never want to leave and tell all their entrepreneurial friends about our community.
