Marketing Automation Specialist

About The Position

eTeacher group is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to take full ownership of the marketing technology stack and data integration processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing platforms such as Make, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, attribution models, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party services. This role is critical to enabling efficient data flow, optimization, and measurement of marketing activities. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, ensuring that all marketing platforms work cohesively to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Make platform: Oversee all automations and workflows within the Make platform, ensuring efficient and scalable integrations between marketing systems, tools, and third-party services.

  • Google Analytics Ownership: Manage and configure Google Analytics properties, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of key marketing performance metrics, user behavior, and website activity.

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) Implementation: Lead the implementation and management of tags, triggers, and variables through GTM, ensuring accurate data collection across all marketing channels and touchpoints.

  • Attribution Models: Develop and maintain marketing attribution models to effectively measure the impact of various marketing activities and channels on business goals. Ensure that attribution is optimized and provides actionable insights.

  • Third-Party Integrations: Own all integrations between marketing platforms and third-party services (e.g., CRM, email marketing, social media, etc.), ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

  • Marketing Technology Stack Management: Manage the entire marketing technology stack, continuously evaluating and optimizing tools to meet the evolving needs of the marketing team.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to provide actionable insights from data analysis and work to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into marketing performance, attribution, and ROI, enabling decision-making based on key performance indicators.

  • Compliance & Data Governance: Ensure that all data tracking and integrations are in line with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and follow best practices for data governance.

  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technology, to ensure that marketing platforms are aligned with overall business objectives and technical requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing Make (or similar iPaaS platforms) and Google Tag Manager, with a track record of implementing complex workflows and integrations.

  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and expertise in managing attribution models.

  • Experience integrating third-party services such as CRM, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.

  • Technical acumen: Ability to work with APIs, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement data tracking solutions.

  • Experience working in Marketing Technology or Product teams, with a focus on enabling marketing success through technology and data.

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and ensuring compliance within the marketing technology stack.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with attribution platforms and multi-channel attribution models.

  • Knowledge of additional marketing analytics platforms and tools (e.g., SEMrush, HubSpot, Tableau).

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (MAKE/ZAPIER) and integrating them with other systems.
